TWO BIG “ATTA BOYS”!!!!!! At the last meeting a Life Member named Steve Porter brought me an envelope, put it in my hands and walked away as the meeting was about to start. I opened the envelope to find a $20,000.00 personal check made out to the Post #577. Steve has helped with recruiting, Memorial Rights and he was at the Post every night I was helping to remodel and now the largest donation I seen since I joined. Plus, he is a Marine! The VFW would like to thank Dick Routh for all the hard work, the long hours and the copying of CD's he has done in getting the Karaoke up and running at the Uptown Lounge, also for the great painting of the dance floor walls. Thanks to people like you who donate your time and knowledge for our Veteran's.
